Registration begins at 1:30 pm
Seminar runs from 2 to 5 pm
Social Hour follows at 5 pm
This presentation will cover various aspects of working with pathogenic affect using the AEDP model of psychotherapy. With a combination of didactic material and video tape, participants will see a variety of relational interventions that aim to undo unbearable aloneness and foster a new corrective experience for the patient. The presentation will demonstrate the clinical benefits of using a bottom up approach. Furthermore, it will show that by using right brain interventions the patient is able to have and tolerate a new healing experience for the first time.
