Treating Trauma and Dissociation Through Healing Infidelity: An AEDP for Couples Workshop

This workshop will feature a combination of video taped and live therapy demonstrations with active input from workshop participants.

The objectives are for therapists to learn more about how to:

  • Help couples create a place of safety even during the rippling aftermath of discovering betrayals

  • Recognize the dissociation and “self contradiction” that indicate unresolved trauma

  • Heal the roots of these early life traumas that set infidelity into motion

  • Practice the language forms that regulate dysregulated affect and encourage core affect that goes to a healing place
