Lachman, Nissan
Nissan Lachman is a clinical psychotherapist whose experience includes helping individuals, families and couples. His open and sincere approach to therapy is key in helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, family issues or addictions.
Nissan fosters a supportive, accepting and non-judgmental environment, where he helps his clients identify and work through the issues preventing them from maximizing their enjoyment of life. He focuses on the development of self-awareness and insight to empower his clients to break out of old habits and negative thought patterns. With compassion and understanding, Nissan helps people build on their strengths to attain the personal development they desire.
Nissan holds a Masters in Social Work from Long Island University. He graduated with honors and is a lifetime member of the Phi Alfa Honors Society. His academic concentration focused on studying the causes and effects of addiction, specifically with regards to alcohol and substance abuse.
Nissan is trained in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), as well as the Collaborative Stage Model (CSM) in treating complex trauma. Additionally, Nissan was a participant in the Fourth World Congress on Positive Psychology.
Nissan is a sought after therapist who has practiced in several positions around Yerushayalim including YTA High School, Kesher Yeshiva, and Crossroads Jerusalem.
